Community Action Projects

Over the 3 days, we will be involved in a range of community action projects including:

  • Rubbish & litter clearance in community areas
  • School playground and public park renovation
  • Projects in Sheltered housing accommodation
  • Graffiti removal
  • Mural painting
  • and much more...

    • If you have a specific skill/interest in a particular type of project, please do tell us when you register. Equally, if you need to avoid certain types of projects (e.g. if you have a bad back so don't want to be gardening!), please let us know in advance. You may be approached before the weekend and asked to be involved in a particular project. However, most volunteers will find out which project they will be involved with when they register at the start of the weekend.

    The Noise is working closely with other local community organisations (statutory and voluntary), so that together we can identify the projects which will be of most benefit to the community.
